KiwiSport funded programme helps introduce Wellington students to AFL

One of the biggest sporting clashes on the Australian calendar is coming to Wellington when the St. Kilda Saints take on the Carlton Blues on ANZAC Day in an AFL match at Westpac Stadium. The New Zealand ANZAC Day match is now a permanent feature of the AFL home and away season and is a draw card for those keen to play AFL, especially children. Read More>>

2015 Hutt KiwiSport Schools Festival

On Friday, March 27th around 500 Year 5 and 6 students armed with foam swords, sticks and various shaped balls of all sizes swarmed Hutt Park for the annual KiwiSport Schools Festival.  There were 18 primary schools from across the Lower Hutt region selected to come and take part in what was a really successful day overall. Need a new challenge? Mt Lowry is only 2 months away! Register now for your space in the Mt Lowry Challenge on Sunday 17 May 2015! With walking or running categories and this course is designed for experienced and newcomers alike. You don’t need to be a top athlete to compete. It is a competitive enough trail for the seasoned trail runner, but tame enough for those who want to give the "trail thing" a try.
