Sport Wellington is pleased to announce the addition of six new athletes to the Pathway to Podium programme.
They are Ollie Logan, Brad Read, Felicity Reidy and Kelsey Smith from Hockey, and Mila Reuelu-Buchanan and Colleen Faleafaga from Netball. This brings a total of 15 athletes to the Wellington programme.
Pathway to Podium is a partnership between High Performance Sport New Zealand, Sport New Zealand and regional stakeholders led by Sport Wellington to provide support services to talented Wellington athletes. Athletes have been identified by their National Sporting Organisation who have the potential to succeed in the high performance environment.
The athletes gain access to programmes (e.g. nutrition, psychology, individual performance plans) to better prepare them for the transition into the high performance environment.
Congratulations and good luck to our new Pathway to Podium athletes!
