Nominations are now open for the annual Sport Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards! Now in their 46th year and aim to celebrate sporting excellence in the Wellington region. Nominations are open until 5pm Friday 24 April and recognise successes between the dates of 23 April 2014 – 7 April 2015. Nominations are welcomed from the general public, sports organisations and the media across 12 categories.
