Sport Wellington Events & Awards
Sport Wellington is committed to providing events and awards which encourage and support participation and inclusivity, and which celebrate success. We believe in supporting the playground to the podium concept; everyone has the opportunity to reach their personal goals within the sport and recreation environment.
Our major events are AMI Round the Bays, The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards and the Big Annual Buggy Walk. As well as these we also produce a number of smaller, programme events including monthly Buggy Walks, the Pelorus Trust Stadium Sports Festival for school children, and the Sport New Zealand Volunteer of the Year Breakfast.
