Sport Wellington Volunteer of the Month Sport Wellington Coach of the Month The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards Sport Wairarapa Whistler of the Year The purpose of this award is to recognise the valuable work provided by umpires, referees, judges and officials at all levels in our sporting commumity in the Wairarapa region. The award is presented in December of each year. Sport Wairarapa Junior Whistler of the Year The purpose of this award is to recognise the valuable work provided by junior umpires, referees, judges and officials at all levesl in our sporting community in the Wairarapa region. The award is presented in December of each year. Sport Wairarapa Whistler Most Valuable Contribution The purpose of this award is to recognise the valuable contribution of officials and administrators responsible for organising, promoting, recruiting and training officials. This award is presented in December of each year. Wairarapa Maori Sports Awards Hosted by Whaiora Whanui the purpose of these awards is to celebrate, promote and encourage Wairarapa Maori sporting excellence. The award period runs from 1st October previous year to 30th September of the current year. Kapiti Pak'n Save and the Lions Club of Kapiti Sportsperson of the Year Awards These awards recognise and celebrate sporting achievements on the Kapiti Coast and organisations and individuals that compete and support sport in Kapiti. Kapiti Pak'n Save and the Lions Club of Kapiti Sportsperson of the Year Awards Porirua Sportsperson of the Year Awards Porirua Licensing Trust is the major sponsor and organiser of this event and the award ceremonies are held in the last quarter of the year. The award period is 1st September of the year prior to the 31st August of current year. The four categories are Young Sportsperson of the Year (U19), Individual Sportsperson of the Year, Sports Team of the Year and Administrator of the Year. Nominees must live within the Porirua Licensing Trust area (including Tawa District north of Collins Avenue). Upper Hutt Sportsperson of the Year Awards The Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club, Upper Hutt City Sportsperson of the year awards recognise the efforts of sportspeople and sports officials. The awards are a celebration of persistence, effort and special talents from people to excel at their chosen discipline.
