Sport Wellington is all about getting more Wellingtonians more active, more often.
Whether it is through our programmes, the AMI Round the Bays fun run/walk, participating in sport, or getting out and going for a walk around Wellington's fantastic scenery, there is plenty available to get you active.
At least 30 minutes physical activity on most days of the week can assist in the management of chronic disease such as hypertension, obesity, diabetes, anxiety, arthritis, osteoarthritis, depression and respiratory conditions.
If you do less than 2.5 hours of active leisure a week a Green Prescription or Active Families referral could help you get more active, more often and add more life to your years.
