KiwiSport Getting Started in Coaching

The Kiwisport getting Started in Coaching Workshop provides an entry point for individuals wishing to get involved in coaching. The course is designed for the first time coach (parents, teachers, students, volunteers) and covers basic introductory coaching concepts and gives an insight into what coaching is and how to coach.

The workshop is designed to increase the skills and confidence of new coaches to deliver quality coaching experiences for school aged children.

These workshops are not-sport specific, they are run by experts in their chosen sport and may use a cricket bat or netball etc to deliver the content.

Even if you’re not planning on coaching in the immediate future but would like to have awareness of what is involved in coaching this workshop will be of interest to you.
