Olympics are over now it’s your turn!!
We invite your practice, PHO or health provider to participate in our 2008 Active Health Provider Workplace Challenge. If you have participated in previous years we hope you will join us once more. We also welcome and encourage new participants to The Move the Nation Challenge 2008.
The physical activity challenge lasts for 4 weeks and this year will start on Monday 13 October ending on NATIONAL PUSH PLAY DAY Friday 7 November.
The challenge is designed to increase awareness of the importance of regular physical activity for both the members of your health provider team, and your patients, in the Greater Wellington Region.
The Move the Nation Challenge can include all physical activity both inside and outside.
The Green Prescription Active Health Provider Workplace Challenge is easy. Approx 30 mins walk will equate to 3km travel along New Zealand. |  |
Resources Your workplace will receive a free resource pack to take part in the challenge including: Map of New Zealand showing distances, walking programmes, activity ideas and much more. You will also receive weekly e-mails with helpful hints, motivation tips, and a Push Play activity guide for your region. There are many prize packs to be won: - Most Innovative Practice
