Sideline Supporters Promotion 2008 Sport Wellington Coach of the Month AprilCongratulations to Moana Pointon who coached the Wellington East Girls College softball team to winning the National Secondary School championships in Christchurch. Her commitment, dedication and natural ability paid off after three years of attempting to win this event. She selected athletes with potential and turned them into winners. This volunteer coach has a huge passions for her sport which is contagious and has rubbed off on these college students. Sport Wellington Volunteer of the Month AprilCongratulations to Chris Gower who organised a Karate tour to Japan for 21 students, aged between 6 and 16 years, from the Mt. Victoria Dojo.
