Sport Wellington Kapiti

Sport Wellington Kapiti is a branch of Sport Wellington and is in partnership with Kapiti Coast District Council (KCDC). Kapiti’s focus is on encouraging more people to be more active more of the time. This is done by providing support in various ways to a wide range of individuals and organisations.

The job of Sport Wellington Kapiti Regional Advisor is one of coordinating and supporting the community to be physically active. Much of this support is brought into the Kapiti area by the various teams based at the main Wellington office. Early Childhood Centres and Schools are supported by the Education team to become more active, while clubs are assisted through utilising the skills and knowledge of the Sport Development Team.
