Inter-School Sports

Over 140 primary and intermediate sports tournaments are organised throughout the year by the 23 primary and intermediate sports clusters in the Wellington Region.

SW can provide advice for the sports clusters to ensure sports tournaments are of quality and an enjoyable experience for all concerned. This could involve:

  • Meeting with event organisers for pre event planning
  • Linking in outside providers to the tournament and or overall strengthening of the zone.

Sport Wellington maintains regular communication with the convenors of each zone and endeavours to send a representative to the respective zone meetings. SW collates zone information and produces a calendar of zone sports tournaments. If you require information for your zone events please contact your zone convenor in the first instance.
