Student Sport Ambassadors


The Community Trust of Wellington and Sport Wellington Region Student Sport Ambassadors 

The Community Trust of Wellington and Sport Wellington Region offers scholarships to young athletes studying at tertiary
level in the Wellington region - Kapiti, Wellington and Wairarapa.

The 12 month programme assists to ease the financial burden associated with combining sport and study, helps athletes
stay in the region, encourages top sportspeople to share and help one another in achieving their goals and promotes
young athletes as role models.  Student Sport Ambassadors receive mentoring and are given opportunities to participate
in a variety of events.

If you are interested in having a Student Sport Ambassador visit your school or organisation for a role model session
on; tips on sport, coaching, goal setting, being active, motivation, over coming barriers and more, please contact:
