Sport Wellington Wairarapa promotes Sport and Recreation to residents and visitors of the Wairarapa through the Wairarapa Sports House resources, equipment and staff.

Sport Wellington Wairarapa supports individuals, families, early childhood centres, schools, clubs and associations by way of the events, projects and programmes delivered both by our organisation and the stakeholders who we work in close partnership with.

Getting Active in the Wairarapa Region

There are many ways of getting active in the Wairarapa region, whether it is through Green Prescription, the Wairarapa Women's Triathlon, participating in sport, or even getting out and going for a walk around Wairarapa's fantastic scenery.

Wairarapa Sports House

The Wairarapa Sports House is a community asset and initiative undertaken by Prime Community Trust. The facility boasts a large physical activity area, two consultation rooms, a selection of meeting rooms and a seminar room which caters for up to 40 guests, all of which Sport Wellington Wairarapa are dedicated to see being utilised by the local community.

The Sports House also provides convenient hot desk spaces for Wairarapa sports organisations to utilise as their own administrative base, whilst exposing them to a number of networking opportunities.

More information can be found here, or by contacting our office.

Car parking is available behind our building from the driveway between the Sports House and L J Hooker on Chapel Street. The office is open from 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
