Awesome to see so many of our Sport Wellington Active Families taking part in the Magic Mile on Sunday! Not only did they brave the cold, wind and rain to participate, they also managed it with a big smile. Many of our whānau achieved their personal goals including; running half the course, not complaining and completing the run as a family. Ka pai!! 😊

The Sport NZ Active NZ Survey is a rolling nationwide survey that provides valuable information and insights on how New Zealanders are currently engaging with sport and recreation.
It provides a point-in-time snapshot of participation through the lenses of age, gender, ethnicity and deprivation, with results based on responses from over 27,000 adults (18+) and 6,000 young people (5-17years).
Topics covered in the survey include; participation, barriers to being active, events and memberships, volunteering, attitudes and high performance, health and lifestyle, and demographics. Definitely worth a read!
