Primary Schools Inter-School Sports Workshops
Schools - Get Set Go!
An essential workshop for organisers of sports events, particularly inter-school zone events.
The workshop is a great opportunity to share ideas and discuss issues with other schools.
You'll receive the School Sports Events - Quality Planning & Performance folder full of useful infomation, with a CD containing specific resources to assist your planning, including: - Zone Event Checklist
- RAMS template
- Evaluation templates, and best practice evaluation techniques
- Inclusive Event Checklist, and infomation for how to include athletes with disabilities.
As an owner of the School Sports Events - Quality Planning & Performance folder, you will receive on-going updates on sport specific infomation to assist with planning events.

Active Schools - Lead Teacher Workshop
What the workshop covers:
- The Active Schools Initiative, what is required and how much support you can expect to receive.
- What other schools are achieving within the Active Schools Initiative.
- Later in the day, you will be encouraged to consider how your school works with outside providers and the types of questions you could be asking to ensure quality programmes are being delivered in your school.
Date: 18 September 2008 Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm Venue: Pelorus Trust Sports House, Hutt Park, Seaview, Lower Hutt. Cost: $90 incl. GST, $50 + GST for all past and current Active Schools (discounted rate) Provided: Morning Tea, Lunch, Discussion Handouts, and for Active Schools Teacher Participation Funding for relievers.
This will be a whole day workshop some time in Term 4 (date TBC)
All current Active Schools lead teachers are encouraged to attend, with Teacher Participation Funding available to cover reliever costs.
All past Active Schools lead teachers are welcome to attend and share their experiences with others.
