Senior Regional Games 2020
Join Upper Hutt City Council, Hutt City Council, Wellington City Council, Age Concern, Sport Wellington and other local partners on Tuesday 3 November for the 2020 Senior Regional Games.
Suitable for the active; less active than I used to be; only active if I get to see my mates; and those keen to come and watch others be active, this free event offers independent older adults the opportunity to participate in fun physical and social activities, meet new people, and learn more about what activities are regularly available in the community.
This event is about knocking down boundaries and challenging assumptions that the older you get, the fewer opportunities to stay active there are. From badminton to bowls to dancing, there will be something for everyone. So bring your friends and whānau to celebrate together, participate in friendly competition, and try something new!
All participants will need to register for the 2020 Senior Regional Games. There are no restrictions on who can come; however, the event is designed to celebrate older independent adults (60 years plus) in our communities.
